Be Strong!

Be Strong!

We are not here to play, to dream, to drift;

We have hard work to do, and loads to lift;

Shun not the struggle -face it; ' tis God's gift.

Be Strong!

Say not, "The days are evil. Who's to blame?"

And fold the hands and acquiesce* --oh shame!

Stand up, speak out, and bravely, in God's name.

Be Strong!

It matters not how deep intrenched the wrong,

How hard the battle goes, the day long;

Faint not--fight on! Tomorrow comes the song.

Encouraging word. thanks sister. I am particularly praying the Lord will accomplish His desired work within me in the battle that's come my way -- not too terrible, but purposeful I am sure.

In Jesus,...

Dear Sarah, surely this is your anthem! It reminds me of your work of proclaiming the Gospel to the lost of this world. Of course, all of us are in the battle.

I'm going to do some research on the author of this poem, as I've never heard of him. They're very stirring, encouraging thoughts, thank you.

Dear Lesley,
I have been very busy here these days... You can tell by my lack of posting here!

God is wonderful and very long suffering with us.

It's so good to hear from you, I hope we'll get to see you sometime soon!

Thank you so much for the encouragement...

love to you all!

Sarah, I read how the Lord spoke to you in Andrew Murray's words to us, on Brenda's blog, April 26??
Seems this is much the doing of the Spirit - for in me is the same...

May our Lord draw us nearer, and let us support one another in prayer to keep on the path that leads Home, in hope and trust.

Love in Jesus,
Auntie eM
